Bill Snyder, 78, reportedly agrees to 5-year contract at Kansas State

The ageless one. Kansas State head football coach Bill Snyder has reportedly agreed to a five-year contract with Kansas State that will take him through the 2022 season, when he’ll be 84 years old, Brett McMurphy reported Thursday afternoon.

Snyder is currently 78 years of age. Last year, he nixed a potential succession plan at Kansas State, and more recently he made headlines for making it clear that he didn’t seen the end of his coaching career coming up, any time soon.

This news certainly highlights that in an intense way.

During his 27 years with the Wildcats, Snyder has a 210-110-1 record during the regular season and is 9-10 in postseason play. The team last played in the Cactus Bowl last season, beating UCLA 35-17.
