Leave it up to New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick to put everything into perspective following the shocking retirement of Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck.

In talking about Luck’s decision to move on from the game, the six-time Super Bowl champion head coach provided the most Bill Belichick response ever.

We’re super excited that Belichick believes Luck was a good player during his seven-year NFL career. That’s some hard-hitting stuff right there.

Belichick playing it off like he didn’t know much about the situation is about the best thing here. It was pretty much the story of the decade around the NFL when the news broke Saturday night.

I guess the head coach was too busy in the film room or sipping on some wine to comprehend the magnitude of the news.

The only thing missing here is Belichick going further by saying he’s focused more on Thursday’s preseason game against the New York Giants.
