The Duke Blue Devils headed into the NCAA Tournament as the No. 1 overall seed. Led by super freshman Zion Williamson, oddsmakers have Duke coming out on top when all is said and done.

Set to take on North Dakota State in the Round of 64 on Friday night, Duke finds itself as 27.5-point favorites. To put this into perspective, the betting world has the Blue Devils at -15,000 for the game.

The only bets that should be coming in are from those looking for North Dakota State to potentially pull off the greatest upset in tourney history. Even then, those should be small, fun bets. A $5.00 bet to see this happen would net $750.00.

Interestingly, someone in Las Vegas decided to put $150.00 on Duke coming out on top. No point spread. Nothing. A straight up and down bet.

The wager came in at $150.00 — meaning that the individual would win a cool $1.00 if Coach K and Co. came out on top.

There’s no other way to look at this. It has to be a troll job of epic proportions.

We’re now left wondering what this bettor might do if North Dakota State came out on top.

Either way, what a waste of time and money.
