BetBoom Team, Spirit advance to semis of BetBoom Dacha

BetBoom Team and Team Spirit each recorded a sweep on Friday to punch their tickets to the semifinals of the Counter-Strike 2 BetBoom Dacha event in Dubai.

BetBoom Team posted a 2-0 victory over Cloud9 in a Group A decider match, while Team Spirit won by the same score over FURIA Esports in Group B action.

BetBoom Team notched a 13-10 win on Ancient and 13-5 victory on Nuke to eliminate Cloud9.

Aleksandr “zorte” Zagodyrenko had 38 kills and a plus-16 kills-to-death differential for BetBoom, who will challenge Virtus.pro in a semifinal clash on Saturday.

Fellow Russian Denis “electroNic” Sharipov totaled 32 kills and had an even kills-to-death differential for Cloud9.

Team Spirit secured a 16-12 win on Ancient and 13-8 victory on Mirage.

Russian Danil “donk” Kryshkovets had 56 kills and a plus-28 kills-to-death differential to Team Spirit, who will face MIBR in the other semifinal on Saturday.

Brazilian Kaike “KSCERATO” Cerato collected 38 kills and a plus-5 kills-to-death differential for FURIA.

The winner of the $300,000 tournament will pocket $180,000, with the runner-up gaining $60,000. The playoffs will feature best-of-three matches in the semifinals and a best-of-five match in the grand final.
