This article will focus on the best value play at each position using NFL DraftKings’ pricing for the Sunday 1 PM (ET) slate. We will provide one cheap option at every position based on matchups and game theory from top to bottom. Now that we’ve done the housekeeping, let’s get into Week 17.

Quarterback: Tyrod Taylor, New York Giants ($4,600)

Taylor is getting the start this week in New York after almost leading the Giants on a comeback last week. He has a good matchup against the Rams’ 29th-ranked defense against the QB position. If Taylor plays well, this game could have some fantasy goodness, especially relative to his absolute bottom-of-the-barrel price. He can be stacked with RB Saquon Barkley and WR Darius Slayton (more on him later).

Running Back: Devin Singletary, Houston Texans ($5,600)

In Week 15, Singletary had a 24-fantasy point performance on the road against the Titans. He will have an opportunity for another big game this week at home. The return of C.J. Stroud should only open up more running lanes for him to exploit.

Wide Receiver: Darius Slayton, New York Giants ($3,400)

Slayton connected with Tyrod Taylor for a 70-yard TD last week. This week, he has a great matchup against the Rams’ defense, which allows almost 20 fantasy points per game to opposing WRs. Consider Slayton a value play this week as the top WR on a team that should be playing from behind.

Tight End: Gerald Everett, Los Angeles Chargers ($3,500)

Everett is averaging 10 fantasy points per game over the last five games. This week, he has a good matchup against the Broncos’ worst-ranked defense against the TE position. Especially with Keenan Allen and potentially Josh Palmer out, he should see plenty of targets.

Defense: New England Patriots’ DEF ($2,300)

The Patriots’ defense has averaged almost 8.0 fantasy points per game over their last five games. In Week 7, they forced an INT, a sack, and a fumble on the road against the Bills. Consider the Patriots a value play this week as they rematch against their AFC East rivals at home.
