Antonio Cromartie, Kellen Winslow Jr. Exchange Jabs on Twitter

Antonio Cromartie took a verbal shot at Richard Sherman last week, saying the Seattle Seahawks D-back wasn’t the best cornerback in the league. Sherman responded to Cromartie’s comments on Tuesday, noting the then-Arizona Cardinals and current New York Jets corner only made the Pro Bowl because Seattle was in the Super Bowl.

But now, former NFL tight end Kellen Winslow Jr. has stepped into the battle.

Via the never-ending gift of  Twitter, Winslow advised Cromartie to “stop talkin” because “[you’re] not even close to the best.”

Cromartie tossed back a clever retort, asking if Winslow—who hasn’t played in the NFL since 2013—if he’d been to target lately.

So, as any self-respecting man would do—sarcasm—Winslow challenged Cromartie to a fight.

Cromartie and Winslow were both with New York in 2013, but apparently, there’s no love lost between the former teammates.

The offseason is getting weirder by the day.
