Freshman Andrej Stojakovic scored 17 points, Maxime Raynaud anchored a double-double with a game-high 13 rebounds and Stanford pulled away from visiting Idaho early en route to an 82-64 victory Sunday afternoon.

Michael Jones had 14 points and seven rebounds for Stanford (5-4), which won its second in a row overall and fifth in six home outings this season.

Reserve Tyler Linhardt put up a career-high 16 points for the Vandals (6-5), who saw a three-game winning streak come to an end.

After Idaho’s Terren Frank hit the game’s first basket 75 seconds into the contest, the Cardinal seized control, scoring the next nine points. Jared Bynum bookended the run with a 3-pointer and a 2-pointer.

The margin was just 16-12 after the Vandals’ Trevor Blassingame nailed a jumper just before the 12:00 mark, but Stanford then made it a run-away as Kanaan Carlyle and Stojakovic contributed 3-pointers to another nine-point burst that opened a 13-point advantage.

Stanford went on to lead 41-22 at the break and then by as many as 23 points in the second half while coasting home.

Stojakovic, the son of former NBA standout Peja Stojakovic, had totaled just 16 points in his previous four games after going for 18 twice in a row last month. He shot 7-for-11 overall and 3-for-6 on 3-pointers Sunday.

Raynaud finished with 12 points and Carlyle had 11 for the Cardinal, who shot 56.4 percent overall and 10-for-23 (43.5 percent) from beyond the arc, outscoring the visitors 30-18 from deep.

Linhardt, a transfer from Washington who totaled only six points last season for the Huskies as a freshman, reached double figures for the fourth straight game. His previous high had been 12 in a win over Pacific earlier this month.

Quinn Denker chipped in with 13 points and D’Angelo Minnis had 12 for Idaho, which shot just 39.4 percent overall and 6-for-25 (24.0 percent) on 3-pointers.
