The Alabama Crimson Tide lost a top recruit on Sunday when four-star cornerback Latrell McCutchin announced he is de-committing and reopening his recruitment.

McCutchin announced his decision to de-commit from Alabama via his Twitter account. He thanked Nick Saban and said he is still considering the Crimson Tide, but noted he’s reopening his recruitment to “explore my options to ensure that I’m making the right decision for my future.”

A member of the 2021 recruiting class out of LBJ in Austin, Texas, McCutchin had been offered by many other big programs before initially agreeing to join the Alabama program, such as Florida, Georgia, LSU, and Oklahoma, to name a few.
