The New York Yankees haven’t had slugger Aaron Judge in the lineup since mid-April, but he’s continuing to make solid progress on a return.

Judge has been out of commission following a significant oblique strain and only recently began swinging a bat.

Now, he’s taking even more strides toward his return to the Yankees’ active roster, hitting off the high-velocity pitching machine in Tampa Monday, per Coley Harvey of ESPN.

Furthermore, Yankees manager Aaron Boone said that there is “a possibility he’ll be ready to compete in (rehab) games this weekend” while noting Judge is continuing to progress in a positive direction.

Before his injury, Judge was batting .288 with five home runs and 11 RBI.
