Someone is looking to cash in on an Aaron Hernandez souvenir. It was just discovered that Hernandez’s jail identification card from Suffolk County Jail has surfaced on eBay with a starting bid of $500.

According to TMZ Sports, law enforcement sources have confirmed that the jail I.D. is legit. As for the seller, he/she remain anonymous, but did have this note posted on the eBay listing.

I was in jail with Arron Hernandes [sic] the for patriot super star.. I happen to com [sic] across his jail id.
Reportedly, TMZ has tried to get a comment from the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department as to how a former cellmate wound up with Aaron” Hernandez I.D. card. However, they have declined to reply.
Not sure who would want to own such an item. Though, people do collect some strange stuff.
