WATCH: White Sox organist will bring you cheer on what was supposed to be Opening Day

Scoreboard at Oracle Park on Opening Day

Today is Thursday, March 26, and before the COVID-19 pandemic turned our world upside down, it was supposed to be Opening Day for MLB.

Most baseball fans are likely having a really hard time with this reality. I know I am.

To bring some cheer into your life, we present to you Nancy Faust, the organist for the Chicago White Sox, who sent the following video to her son last week when he was struggling with life sans sports.

Pure joy. Her bright light shines for all to see, and the music sings to us all.

Take care, everyone. The night is dark and full of terrors. But the sun will shine on us once again in due course, and that includes the return of MLB at some point in the (hopefully) not-too-distant future.
