The Golden State Warriors continue to push back the return of star guard Stephen Curry from a broken hand that has cost him all but four games this season.

That could change here soon. According to Warriors head coach Steve Kerr, Curry could return to action Thursday against the Toronto Raptors.

Curry was slated to return this past weekend, but that was delayed some. Golden State then sent him down to the G-League to get a practice in with the team’s affiliate in Santa Cruz.

It’s not yet known why the Warriors are pushing the two-time MVP to return during what has been a disastrous season for the team.

Golden State currently boasts a league-worst 13-48 record on the season. It could have something to do with the team’s brass wanting to see Curry and the recently-acquired Andrew Wiggins share the court before the season ends.

As it is, Curry could return Thursday night for a “rematch” of last year’s NBA Finals between teams that are vastly different in nature than what we saw this past June.
