During the first quarter Saturday night, Memphis receiver Damonte Coxie casually pulled off one of the better one-handed catches we’ve seen this season.

Incredibly, Coxie had been tagged in the facemask by his defender prior to his remarkable reception. After shrugging off the penalty, he got around said defender then palmed a high throw with his left hand before bringing it to his body and falling to the ground.

This beautiful 24-yard reception set up the Tigers in the red zone just before the first quarter ended, the game tied up at 7-7. It led to a field goal for Memphis after the break to put the Tigers up 10-7.
