Texans safety Mike Adams suffered concussion during pregame warmups

Now here’s something you don’t see every day. Houston Texans safety Mike Adams was ruled out with a concussion that he suffered during pregame warmups.

The Texans announced the injury news early during their game against the Baltimore Ravens.

Adams has appeared in just one game for the Texans so far this season after signing on Sept. 30. The 38-year-old wasn’t expected to contribute heavily on Sunday, either.

Still, the nature of this injury is noteworthy, as players don’t usually get concussed during pregame warmups.
