Report: Redskins players mad at interim HC Bill Callahan over practice methods

Now here’s the least shocking news of the day. Washington Redskins players reportedly are not happy with the way interim head coach Bill Callahan has been running practices.

Al Galdi of Team 980 in D.C. shared that Redskins sideline reporter Rick Doc Walker has heard players are mad about Callahan holding practice on Wednesday of last week (a bye for Washington), and that he had back-to-back padded practices last week.

As Galdi noted, this isn’t a new issue. Redskins players have had issues with the way practices have been run going back to last year when Jay Gruden was still the head coach, and they reportedly had other issues with him this season.

Franchise president Bruce Allen thinks the culture he’s built is just fabulous. Yet time and time again we’re reminded that this organization is on another level when it comes to dysfunction.

Now, fans are turning on the team they love. It’s ugly.
