The return of Mason Rudolph to the Pittsburgh Steelers lineup isn’t going well on Monday night against the Miami Dolphins.
On his first passing attempt of the game, Rudolph threw a brutal interception to Xavien Howard, who was smothering JuJu Smith-Schuster in coverage.
Rudolph never should have let that pass leave his hand.
Making him pay for the mistake, Ryan Fitzpatrick threw a touchdown pass to Alert Wilson to put the Dolphins up 7-0 early in Pittsburgh.
That’s a bad way to start the game for a young quarterback going against an awful team like Miami.
