The Cleveland Browns have been one of the betting favorites to win Super Bowl LIV ever since Odell Beckham Jr. joined the franchise in a trade this spring.

Now that Week 1 is right around the corner, the hype hasn’t died down one iota. On the contrary. Cleveland’s Super Bowl hype train is chugging along at full speed.

Two different sportsbooks have seen a surge of bets on the Browns to win the Super Bowl:

  • A report from SportsBetting.ag shows that the Browns have gotten more bets to win the Super Bowl than any other team in the NFL (8.5% of all wagers).
  • Another betting site, BetOnline.ag, shared that the Browns have received the fourth-most wagers to win the Super Bowl (5.8% of all wagers).

The one thing both betting sites have in common is that both stand to lose the most money if the Browns do, in fact, win Super Bowl LIV.

Currently, Cleveland has 16-1 odds to win the Super Bowl. Those are mighty tasty numbers, which is why sportsbooks stand to lose so much money if the Browns do bring the Lombardi Trophy back to Cleveland.
