NFL suspends Vikings’ Holton Hill four games, per report

The Minnesota Vikings will be without one of their most productive rookies from last season for the first four games of the 2019 season, NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport reports.

The report notes that Hill, a Texas product, will be suspended for violating the NFL’s performance enhancing drugs policy.

Considered a potential early-round selection last year, Hill went undrafted after he was suspended by the Texas football program. No details were released regarding said suspension. Though, some believe it was marijuana-related.

Hill, 22, recorded 36 tackles, seven passes defended and one interception in 16 games (three starts) as a rookie last season.
