Despite his team’s struggles this season, New Orleans Pelicans guard Jrue Holiday is turning in the best performance of his carer.
Unfortunately for Holiday and the Pelicans, he’s going to be out at least the next week with a lower abdominal strain.
New Orleans guard Jrue Holiday has been diagnosed with a lower abdominal strain after undergoing an MRI and will be re-evaluated in 7-10 days.

This won’t impact the Pelicans too much. They are almost completely out of the Western Conference Playoff race at 30-37 on the season.
Though, the team may look to trade Holiday this coming summer. If this injury drags on, that could be a minor issue..
A one time All-Star, Holiday is averaging a career-best 21.2 points, 5.0 rebounds and 7.7 assists per game this season.
