In a not-so-surprising decision, the Chicago Bears plan to release kicker Cody Parkey after a poor season. That would include Parkey’s famous double-doink that ended the Bears’ postseason run in January.
But have no fear. The Bears have signed new kicker named…Chris Blewitt.

This stuff literally can’t be made up. This name ranks up there some of the most “punny” names in sports such as MLB pitchers Grant Balfour and Homer Bailey.
Did the Bears think that nobody is going to razz them for this?
