After being arrested in Georgia this past March on allegations he assaulted a woman back in 2013, Denver Broncos defensive lineman Adam Gotsis will not face charges.
According to TMZ Sports, authorities in Fulton County decided after a long investigation not to press charges against the 25-year-old former second-round pick.
“After a careful and thorough investigation, The Fulton County District Attorney’s Office has decided not to proceed with the case against Mr. Adam Gotsis,” D.A. Paul Howard Jr. told the gossip rag.
Gotsis, a product of Georgia Tech, has faced these allegations since his college days. A near full-time starter for the Broncos last season, the young man can now continue with his football career without this case hanging over his head.
