Sometimes it just isn’t your day. You show up to work and every possible thing that could go wrong does. Unfortunately for the Cincinnati Reds, that embarrassment took place on television.
On Wednesday night, the Cleveland Indians dropped 17 runs on Cincinnati in the first four innings. It’s one thing to be outscored by 17 runs in a nine-inning game, but Cincinnati made it happen in four innings.
Naturally, Twitter saw the bloodbath in Cleveland as the perfect opportunity to have fun at the expense of the Reds, Indians and even the Cleveland Browns.

The Browns haven't held a 17-point lead over the Bengals since 2014.

Browns up 17-0 over the Bengals near halftime on this warm summer evening. Oh wait, my bad…the Indians are up 17-0 over the Reds in the 4th 👀👀

I haven’t placed a sports bet in months but I’m considering reopening my account just to put money on the Reds moneyline, simply because i know what the Indians bullpen is capable of

Scoring 17 the Indians would have been 10-5-1 against the Browns last year.

This is the second time this season the Indians have had back-to-back innings with 6+ runs (also May 3 vs Blue Jays); no other MLB team has done it once.
