Those hoping to see Clayton Kershaw back in action got some good news on Monday. The Los Angeles Dodgers ace threw a three-inning simulated game, and from all appearances, things seemed to go well.

Kershaw had previously thrown off of the mound with no issue. This is even more good news for the Dodgers.
Even still, expect Los Angeles to use caution with Kershaw. When he returned from his previous DL stint, Kershaw made one start and went right back on it. The last thing anyone in the Dodgers’ organization would want would be a repeat of that.
When healthy, Kershaw has been good in 2018. His 1-4 record is less than stellar, but it hasn’t reflected how he’s pitched. In eight starts, Kershaw has a 2.76 ERA, 1.12 WHIP, and a 9.7 K/9 rate.
