Recently, Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey boldly trolled Buffalo Bills rookie quarterback Josh Allen on Twitter.
Ramsey tweeted “That’s a pick waiting to happen…” in response to the Bills posting Allen’s first passing snaps with the team. The tweet has since been deleted, but that was not before news of it got around to Allen, according to TMZ Sports.
When TMZ caught up with Allen to ask if he was offended, they got quite the opposite reaction. Allen responded with this.
“That’s like one of the best corners in the league,” Allen said, per TMZ Sports.”
Allen also said he was “not at all” miffed by Ramsey’s tweet when asked.
Prior to the draft, a lot of folks spoke up on Allen’s inaccuracy issues in college. He completed only 56.3 percent of his passes last year at Wyoming. As for Ramsey, the 2016 former fifth-overall pick has managed six interceptions and defended 31 passes in his first two seasons.
Coincidentally enough, the Bills host the Jaguars this upcoming November.
It will be worth watching Allen in action, provided he is actually starting by the time this game rolls around.
