Midway through the fourth quarter of Tuesday night’s Game 5 between the Utah Jazz and Houston Rockets, rookie Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell had to be helped off the court and into the locker room.
He was followed by veteran Ricky Rubio and helped by two men — one under each shoulder — on either side of him.
The specific injury is, at this point, unknown, though it appeared to be a leg injury. However, we do know that Mitchell got banged up on the following play, during which he collided with James Harden.

Before this, Mitchell had just completed a magnificent effort in the third quarter, when he single-handedly outscored the Rockets, 22-21. At this point in the game, the rookie had 24 points, nine assists, four rebounds and one steal.
