Bills’ Zay Jones after disturbing incident: ‘Thankful to be alive’

Zay Jones arrest

It was just 10 days ago that Buffalo Bills wide receiver Zay Jones was arrested in Los Angeles after he vandalized an apartment while running around naked and bloody. The entire incident was completely bizarre and involved Zay’s brother, Cayleb, who was trying to fend him off as well as stop him from hurting himself.

Speaking up since the incident took place, Zay posted this to his twitter account.

Jones should definitely be thankful to those who intervened and stopped him from further injuring himself that wild night. He can also be thankful that the Bills will not hold that incident against him and it will not impact his future with the team.

Jones will not be charged with vandalism due to insufficient evidence as reported by the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office.

At this time, Jones is lucky to be alive after attempting to jump from a 30th story glass window. We are not sure why Jones erupted that night, but hopefully this past incident remains an isolated one.

Jones was selected by the Bills in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft. He played in 15 games as a rookie, tallying 316 yards and two touchdowns.
