Report: Two Florida State football players facing misdemeanor drug charges

A pair of Florida State football players — running back Zaquandre White and cornerback Kyle Meyers — are facing legal issues after being caught smoking a blunt.

Karl Etters of the Tallahassee Democrat reported that both White and Meyers “are facing misdemeanor marijuana charges after Tallahassee Police say they caught them smoking a blunt within sight of Doak Campbell Stadium.”

He added that each face possession charges for fewer than 20 grams, while “White also faces drug paraphernalia charges.”

White redshirted for Florida State in 2017. Meyers, meanwhile, got into 13 games for the Seminoles. He was in on 26 tackles and recorded an interception.
