Detroit Pistons center Andre Drummond was none too happy that he found himself snubbed for the 2018 NBA All-Star Game.
Well, he can now turn that frown upside down. On Tuesday, NBA Commissioner Adam Silver chose Drummond as a replacement for injured Washington Wizards guard John Wall.

Drummond is having himself a tremendous season, averaging 14.7 points and an NBA-best 15.1 rebounds per game.
To say Pistons teammates were happy about Drummond’s inclusion in the exhibition game would be an understatement.

Things are certainly looking up for Drummond and the Pistons after they acquired All-Star forward Blake Griffin from the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday.
This represents Drummond’s second All-Star Game appearance. It’s definitely well deserved. But not everyone was excited about it.

Drummond will suit up for Team LeBron against Team Curry in the big game next month. For his part, Ben Simmons and the Sixers will be battling with Detroit for one of the final playoff spots back east. He has bigger fish to fry than worrying about an All-Star snub.
