Steelers LB shows no class, trolls Joe Mixon for being knocked unconscious

Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon in NFL Week 7

As if last week’s Monday night game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cincinnati Bengals could get any worse. Steelers linebacker Vince Williams took to Twitter a week after the rivalry game, which was full of nasty (and sometimes dirty) hits and concussions, to troll Joe Mixon.

On Tuesday, Williams quote-tweeted the following video with the caption, “Better put some ice on that.”

Williams was involved in the tackle that knocked Mixon out of the game. He actually got knocked unconscious and had to leave the game with a concussion. Also, he was one of three Bengals players who missed their next game with concussions, so this certainly is no laughing matter.

Truly, it’s hard to look at Williams’ comment as anything other than a despicable troll job. Brain injuries ruin lives. To disrespect a fellow player in this manner over a concussion is unconscionable.
