Philadelphia Eagles offensive tackle Lane Johnson grew up in the great State of Texas, where most of his family still lives. So it’s hardly surprising that many of his family members are still Dallas Cowboys fans.

Dallas and Philadelphia are playing Sunday night in Arlington, Texas. Ahead of the big NFC East rivalry game, Johnson related a funny anecdote about his grandmother and the rivalry that exists between the two teams.

Apparently, Grandma Johnson was rooting for the ‘Boys last year during the playoffs, which didn’t sit well with her grandson.

That’s harsh!

Right now, Johnson and the Eagles are flying high. Coming off their bye, they lead the entire NFL with a record of 8-1. Dallas, on the other hand, is coming off its worst game of the season against Atlanta, a 27-7 beatdown that included eight sacks of Dak Prescott.

If the Eagles can continue to dominate offensively as they’ve been doing all year, Johnson will be able to give grandma a wink after the game.
