Just months out of rehab, recently reinstated Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon was reportedly seen at a local nightclub on Thursday night hanging out with former Browns receiver Greg Little.
Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com noted Gordon posted some Snapchat stories in Cleveland recently, one of which showed Little and him heading to a restaurant “which is more bar than restaurant after 11 p.m.”
The reason she mentions 11 p.m. is that Gordon and Little were spotted at the restaurant around that time. She went on to note, “The site of Gordon in a club at that hour of night is of concern because he’s only been out of his three-month stint in rehab for about six weeks, and was conditionally reinstated by Roger Goodell on Nov. 1 from his indefinite suspension for violating the substance abuse policy multiple times.”
Gordon just rejoined the Browns and is set to practice with the team for the first time in more than a year starting next week. He’s been suspended in 52 of the team’s last 57 games and is out of chances, should he fail to stay clean this time around.
Head coach Hue Jackson spoke highly of the receiver recently, saying he’s been a pleasure to be around.
In a recent feature for GQ magazine, Gordon said he either drank or was on drugs for every game in his career going back to college. So the fact he’s in an environment like a restaurant that’s more like a bar at night is a slipperly slope, indeed.
