A.J. Green will not appeal $42,000 fine

A.J. Green

Last Sunday saw both Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green and Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey get ejected for fighting.

Green has since received a pretty hefty $42,000 fine for which he has reportedly decided not to appeal.

Green, who is typically a quiet guy, lost his cool when Ramsey pushed him to the ground in last Sunday’s game. The veteran receiver retaliated by attacking Ramsey from behind with a choke hold that brought him to the ground. Then, Green proceeded to deliver numerous punches to Ramsey’s helmet.

Ramsey has since commented on the confrontation and admitted he told Green that he was “soft and weak” before the fight broke out.

Green was not suspended for his actions, although many believe he should have been for displaying such extreme behavior. The fine alone will have to serve as his punishment.
