Report: Jordan Reed’s MRI revealed Grade 3 shoulder separation

Jordan Reed released

Washington Redskins tight end Jordan Reed might not play in Week 13 after suffering a Grade 3 shoulder separation against the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day.

If Reed cannot play next weekend against the Arizona Cardinals, his absence would surely be felt. One of Kirk Cousins’ most dependable and dangerous weapons, the tight end has racked up 59 catches for 630 yards and five touchdowns already this year.

Even after injuring his shoulder during Thursday’s game against Dallas, Reed had a tremendous game. He finished with 10 catches for 95 yards and two touchdowns.

Because Reed did finish the game against the Cowboys, we’ll be shocked if he doesn’t try to gut it out next weekend against Arizona. Still, this is something to keep an eye on, whether you’re a fan or a fantasy owner. If Reed does not play, then Washington’s game plan will be significantly altered.
