Washington native Kevin Durant has been a Redskins fan his entire life, and DeAngelo Hall wants to keep it that way.
More importantly, Hall wants to make sure the new Golden State Warriors forward doesn’t start rooting for the Oakland Raiders.
@KDTrey5 congrats on the move to the Warriors bro. Don't go out there and try to be a Raiders fan lol Skins 4 Life #HTTR

What’s funny about this is that Hall himself was a member of the Raiders in 2008 when he played eight games with the franchise. He earned $8 million that season before getting cut by Oakland, which likely has a lot to do with him poo-pooing the idea of Durant watching Raiders games and rooting for the team.
Given Durant’s roots as a Washington, D.C. kid, we think it unlikely that he would abandon his team.
That said, one wonders if Oakland starts to make a playoff run, would Durant join in on the fun to root for his new Bay Area NFL counterpart?
For what it’s worth, Derek Carr can’t wait to watch Durant and the Warriors in action next season.
Welcome to #Oakland KD!!!! Can't wait to go watch these games right next door… Wow. #Oaktown https://t.co/SiOSxMaPxC

It wouldn’t be altogether shocking if Durant returns the favor once or twice.
