Lil B says Warriors will beat Thunder, Kevin Durant ‘is still cursed’

The Golden State Warriors will be defeating the Oklahoma City Thunder in the 2016 Western Conference Finals. That’s at least the take of Bay Area rapper Lil B, also known as “The Based God.”

Lil B’s beef with Kevin Durant goes back more than five years. In January of 2011, Durant sent out a tweet, making it perfectly clear that he was not a fan of Lil B.

Lil B responded by putting a curse on Durant, saying he’d never win a championship. In 2014, he took it to another level with a track on his Hoop Life album called “F— KD.”

Lil B’s curses in basketball have also reached Durant’s former teammate, James Harden. Lil B did not appreciate Harden’s cooking dance and put a curse on him during 2015’s Western Conference Finals because of it.

Now, his curses are not to be taken lightly. To date, Durant has not won a championship. Additionally, Harden had a rough series in 2015’s Western Conference Finals as the Warriors defeated the Rockets 4-1.

So, this is clearly a guy that NBA players should be working to make nice with, not antagonize. It’s going to be tough enough for the Oklahoma City to beat Golden State. The task gets even tougher now that Durant is under an obviously powerful curse.
