Just a few days before the league-wide vote on relocation to Los Angeles is set to take place, the Dallas Cowboys are attempting to throw a curve ball into the entire drama.
As reported on the NFL Today on Saturday, the Cowboys and owner Jerry Jones have submitted a plan to the league that would include the San Diego Chargers and St. Louis Rams sharing a stadium in Los Angeles with the Oakland Raiders being the odd-team out:

It remains to be seen whether this plan would even be up for consideration when the owners meet to vote for relocation on Wednesday.
Remember, the Chargers and Raiders have a two-team stadium project plan in Carson that rivals the Rams’ plan in Inglewood.
In order for this plan to even take hold, the two teams would have to be in agreement.
Unfortunately for those in favor of any plan including the Chargers and Rams sharing a stadium, the former has already indicated they won’t take on a tenant relationship with the Rams in Inglewood.

At the very least, there appears to be an alternative plan that owners could take up on Wednesday. If not, they will be choosing between Inglewood and Carson come Wednesday.
This comes on the heels of Roger Goodell sending a report to the league’s 32 owners indicating that the current host cities for these three teams have not provided the NFL with sufficient plans to avoid relocation.
