Ohio State DE Adolphus Washington cited for solicitation

Ohio State defensive lineman Adolphus Washington was busted for solicitation Wednesday night by police in the City of Columbus, according to school officials, via My Fox 28 in Columbus, Ohio.

The pass-rusher will be disciplined “internally” per the school’s Athletics Communications Spokesperson Jerry Emig, who said Washington’s court date is scheduled for Dec. 17. The citation is for first-degree misdemeanor charge of solicitation.

Head coach Urban Meyer is “currently on the road recruiting and he’ll address discipline once he’s back off the road,” according to Emig.

Washington had a big season for the Buckeyes, tallying 49 tackles, seven tackles for a loss and four sacks. He was named a second-team All-American for his work on the field by CBS Sports, via ElevenWarriors.com.
