Former NFL quarterback Tim Tebow gave a valiant effort to remain in the NFL when he was signed and eventually released by the Philadelphia Eagles over the summer.
When approached by a reporter from TMZ Sports at Los Angeles International Airport and asked what’s next, Tebow pleasantly responded that he’s just “figuring out the next step.”
The reporter further inquired and asked Tebow if he hopes to get another chance to play in the NFL, Tebow politely said all he’s trying to do now is get on a plane. Tebow was heading to Gainsville to cover the Tennessee-Florida game as part of his analyst duties on SEC Network.
Tebow seemed hesitant to commit to another attempt to play in the NFL but admitted he still enjoys football.
This is likely not the first time that Tebow has been pestered about what’s next after the NFL after another failed attempt. So, for Tebow to remain polite, poised and sign off with a “God bless you guys,” shows plenty of class.
