Report: Two USC players got into altercation in tunnel after loss to Stanford

It’s no secret the USC Football program is facing adversity these days, but a reported altercation between teammates following the team’s high-profile loss to Stanford in Week 3 further illustrates the dysfunction brewing for Steve Sarkisian’s squad.

According to TMZ, two players went off on one another following the 41-31 loss. They started fighting in the tunnel and had to be separated by the coaching staff. Per the source providing the story, there was “yelling and pushing between the two players” before the coaches finally broke them up.

Sarkisian was understandably upset about the outburst, and he vented his frustration by saying “We just lost the game and you two are fighting each other?!”

Hopefully the players can come together before the next big matchup against Arizona State on Saturday night in Week 4.
