The high-priced running back hasn’t been effective for Chip Kelly’s offense yet this year, gaining just 11 yards on 21 carries, though he has scored two touchdowns — one on the ground and one through the air.
Fantasy football fans should expect Darren Sproles and Ryan Mathews to see an increase in carries with Murray out.
For the Eagles, this is just another reason to worry. Already 0-2 with an offense that can’t move the ball consistently and a defense that can’t stop anyone, Philly is in deep trouble against a surging 2-0 Jets squad that has started the season with a bang.
