Oh, how the mighty have fallen.
Tiger Woods sliced, hooked and missed putts on his way to a career-worst score (+13) on Saturday at the Memorial Tournament, throwing up an ugly 85 during the third round.
The 14-time major champion teed off early Sunday morning—by himself, for the first time in his PGA days—and shot a 74, finishing the tourney at +14.
Woods was three-under through 12 holes, but a bogey on 13, double-bogey on 15, bogey on 17 and double-bogey on 18 (with a birdie on 16 mixed in) ended his weekend in unceremonious fashion.
Tiger took a total of 302 shots, the highest 72-hole mark of his career. Woods recorded an 18-over score at the WBC-Bridgestone Invitational in 2010, though the par-70 course resulted in a final shot count of 298.
His next scheduled tournament is two weeks away: the U.S. Open, which will be played at Chambers Bay in Washington state.
Needless to say, Woods has some—check that, a ton—of work to do.
