Apparently Josh Freeman, who had only been with the New York Giants just a couple short months wasn’t cutting it. Reports are just surfacing that the Giants have sent him packing.

Eli Manning has been present at practice this week and backup Curtis Painter plans to be back before training camp. Additionally, Ryan Nassib looks to be the front-runner for the primary backup job behind Manning. With all this layering, Freeman was definitely expendable.
Freeman has been on a downhill decline since early last season when he was cut by the Buccaneers. Perhaps he should take this suggestion and just move on from the NFL.
