NFLPA Certified Agent Facing Murder For Hire, Other Charges

In a storyline directly out of a direct-to-video flick, Marlon D. Sullivan, who represents numerous future and current NFL players, is facing multiple federal charges, including helping to “facilitate a murder-for-hire scheme, via Pro Football Talk. 

Authorities became aware of Sullivan’s alleged criminal activities while they were cracking down on corruption of a California state senator. According to NFLPA records, Sullivan currently represents multiple players, including Green Bay Packers running back Ina Liaina and San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Carswell, via Pro Football Talk.

He’s also being charged with gun and drug trafficking as well as selling fraudulent credit cards, via CBS.

Sullivan’s firm represented retired players such as Ronnie Lott, Jim Plunkett and John Elway. They currently represents LaMichael James of the San Francisco 49ers and Mike Brisiel of the Oakland Raiders, among others.

For his part, Sullivan represents former Oregon defensive back and NFL draft prospect Terrence Mitchell. He formerly represented Michael Sam.

Needless to say, he won’t be NFLPA certified for much longer.
