The New England Patriots offense was sharp on its opening drive, a drive that finished with new running back Mike Gillislee scoring the first touchdown of the 2017 regular season.

The score capped off a 73-yard drive. It was fitting that Gillislee capped this drive off. He appeared to score two plays prior, but that was nullified by a New England penalty.
