The Minnesota Vikings might not have Sam Bradford in the starting lineup after all in Week 2 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Acording to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Bradford will work out before the game and be a gametime decision.
Vikings believe Sam Bradford, listed as Q for Sunday, will be gametime decision, per source. They plan to work him out pregame, then decide.

This isn’t tremendously shocking news after the Vikings announced they were activating Kyle Sloter off the practice squad because of concerns about Bradford’s ailing left knee — the same knee he’s had surgically repaired twice before. However, as recently as Friday head coach Mike Zimmer said he expected Bradford to play Sunday on the road.
If Bradford cannot start, then it will be up to Case Keenum to get the job done. To say he’s a downgrade would be a huge understatement. Bradford passed for 346 yards and three touchdowns on Monday night, setting an NFL mark along the way. Keenum, meanwhile is coming off a disastrous campaign in which he failed to stave off rookie Jared Goff in Los Angeles.
