The MLB All-Star Game is a time to see the game’s best players make great plays and in the second inning, Washington Nationals star Bryce Harper did just that.

Kansas City Royals catcher Salvador Perez hit a blooper to right-center that looked like it might fall for a hit. But Harper had other ideas, making a running grab, sliding to the ground after.

Of course, Harper also showed off his magnificent hair.

You can see the catch from another angle here, brought to you by an optimistic Philadelphia Phillies fan.

Harper also made a splash before the game began, when he showed off his shoes that pay tribute to late Miami Marlins pitcher Jose Fernandez.
