Some famous people are interested in the upcoming Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor bout. According to UFC boss Dana White, President Donald Trump is one of them.

White, who supported Trump’s campaign, said that the White House called White about the event. And though he’d love to, President Trump will not attend.

“He feels like he’ll ruin events,” White said, per TMZ Sports. “Secret Service is going to have to go through the place, shut down streets and create crazy traffic.”

It’s hard to argue with that. Anyone who’s ever attended an event with a sitting president knows how much security is added, and how much that slows everything down.

The good news is that we’re pretty sure that President Trump has the money to afford the fight, even if he springs for HD.
