Jimmy Butler has a pretty big chip on his shoulder since being traded away from Chicago to the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Speaking to media during his introductory press conference, Butler called out his critics. More than that, he gave out his phone numbers and told them to call him directly.
No. Seriously. He did.

Butler said he’s comfortable with being the guy who takes the blame.
Then he said his phone was in his back pocket, and challenged anyone who wants to ask him questions to call him.
It was pure brilliance.
Butler and the Timberwolves are going to be insanely fun to watch this upcoming NBA season. If Butler can convince Kyle Lowry to join him, it will be all the more so. With a young nucleus that has the potential to do big things, they could be a force for years to come.
And if Butler continues to be an open book during press conferences, it’ll be all the more entertaining to keep track of this franchise.
