The Oakland Raiders, soon to be the Las Vegas Raiders, offered their fans the chance for a full refund on tickets after NFL owners voted to approve the move.

Speaking to media Tuesday as the owners met up once again to vote on a number of resolutions, Raiders owner Mark Davis revealed “about a thousand” season-ticket holders were refunded their money. But he also said those tickets were quickly sold again, via Ed Edholm of Yahoo Sports.

Among the resolutions passed Tuesday was a revamped injured reserve rule that benefits both players and teams (more on that here). Owners also voted to approve the lease and debt waiver for Oakland’s move to Vegas.

The move has been a sore subject for loyal Raiders fans living in Northern California who have felt betrayed by the team’s decision to leave the state. Some fans were even going so far as to think about burning the jersey of Raiders legend Ken Stabler, but thankfully his daughter talked them out of it.

But as painful as this move has been for some, it’s clear Raiders Nation is still strongly in support of its team, regardless.
