The NBA cracked down hard on Milwaukee Bucks center Greg Monroe and Los Angeles Lakers guards Nick Young and D’Angelo Williams, who got into an altercation on Friday night.
As passed along by Alex Kennedy of Hoops Hype, Monroe was hit the hardest. He was dinged to the tune of $35,000, Young was hit with a $25,000 fine and Russell will come out of it $15,000 poorer.
The incident that sparked these fines stems from the Bucks’ 107-103 win over the Lakers Friday night. Monroe was hit the hardest because he shoved Young above the shoulders. Young earned his fine for instigating the whole thing and Russell earned his for shoving Monroe.
